I'm Rushton. I live in Austin, and I photograph places from wherever I happened to be standing — a boat, a balcony, a roof. That vantage is the whole point of the work.

I print every image myself. Each print is checked in the light, signed in pencil and packed by hand before it goes out. Nobody else touches it.

Every image is released in a small numbered edition. Once an edition sells out, I don't print that image again at that size.
